The Story is the Point

The storytelling aspect of a great illustration has always absorbed Marcia's creative process: the challenge of a narrative captured in a single frame; the tiny pause as a storyteller inhales; the snapshot instant that tells it all. This is the challenge that currently influences most of her work.

Originally trained as a medical illustrator, Marcia has transitioned to freelance illustration and fine art from her Vermont studio, focusing on watercolor and pastel while excited to dabble in various forms of printmaking.
